What To Bring Checklists

  • Sufficient sea sickness and sun protection.
  • Rain gear
  • Windbreakers for those chilly boat rides.
  • Large chest to carry your catch home.
  • Medium action popping, spinning or bass type rods and light casting or spinning reels spooled with fresh twelve to the fifteen-pound line. We can supply these outfits at no charge if needed, but damage or loss is customer responsibility.
  • Non-skid soft sole shoes required, Please no cowboy boots or dark soled shoes.
  • Current fishing license. Out of State anglers may purchase a $20.00 charter trip license by clicking here. Our LDWF Identification Number is 0029879319.
  • Camouflage, olive drab or brown clothing and hat.
  • Rain gear.
  • Face masks are recommended.
  • Knee boots are sufficient, hip or chest waders keep you cleaner when weather conditions are poor. We drop you off at the blind with ATV’s, so walking in waders is not a problem.
  • Steel or other approved non-toxic shot is required. We recommend magnum loads in 2 3/4″, 3″, and 3 1/2″ shells. Since you will be shooting both ducks and geese in the same hunt, steel shot size #2 is a good all-around load for the big ducks and decoying geese we encounter.
  • Modified chokes are preferred.
